J.B. Caravans Pty Ltd, which operates Network RV Caravans, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information when you interact with this website.
Section 01Who we are
J.B. Caravans Pty Ltd (ABN 94 153 020 047 · ACN 153 020 047) operates the Network RV Caravans brand and this website at networkrv.com.au. Our registered address is 2040–2060 Sydney Road, Campbellfield VIC 3061.
References to “we”, “us” or “Network RV” in this policy mean J.B. Caravans Pty Ltd in connection with this website.
We are part of JB Group. Other JB Group brand websites publish their own privacy policies, and those policies apply when you interact with those sites.
We are a different company to Network RV Pty Ltd (Administrators Appointed). J.B. Caravans Pty Ltd purchased certain assets of that business from the administrators, SV Partners. We did not acquire its customer contracts, and we do not control or hold the customer records of Network RV Pty Ltd.
If you are seeking personal information held by the former company, or you have a privacy question about how it handled your information, that request must go to the administrators, SV Partners, not to us.
Section 02What personal information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the enquiry form on this website, or contact us by phone or email, we may collect:
- Your name
- Email address and phone number (phone is optional)
- Your state or territory
- Your enquiry type: a van on order or in build before 11 June 2026, parts or service, buying a caravan, dealer or supplier, or other
- The content of your message, including any van details you choose to provide such as a model, VIN or build number
Only your name, email address and enquiry type are required. Everything else is optional, and you can choose how much to tell us.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, our hosting and security providers may automatically collect limited technical information, including:
- IP address and approximate location at city or region level
- Browser type, version and device type
- Pages requested, timestamps and referring URL
- Standard server and delivery logs needed to operate and secure the site
This site does not currently use Google Analytics or similar third-party marketing analytics. If that changes, we will update this policy.
Sensitive information
We do not seek sensitive information as defined in the Privacy Act, and you should not include it in an enquiry. If your enquiry concerns a financial loss or hardship arising from the administration, please share only what is necessary, and note the section above about where those claims belong.
Section 03How we use your information
We use personal information only for purposes reasonably necessary for, and directly related to, our business. These include:
- Responding to your enquiry and routing it to the right team
- Arranging parts supply or paid servicing for a Network RV van you own
- Connecting you with your nearest dealer where you have asked us to
- Corresponding with you about a caravan left in the factory, including confirming build or VIN details
- Managing dealer and supplier relationships
- Operating, securing and improving this website
- Meeting our obligations under Australian law
We will not use your personal information for a secondary purpose without your consent, unless an exception under the Australian Privacy Principles applies. We do not currently send marketing emails from this website, and submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to anything.
Section 04Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in these limited circumstances:
- JB Group companies: where your enquiry is better handled by another team or brand within the group
- Dealers: where you have asked to be connected with a dealer, we pass your enquiry to the relevant dealership so they can contact you
- Service providers: website hosting, email delivery and security tooling. These providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes
- Professional advisers: our legal and accounting advisers where necessary
- Legal and regulatory bodies: where required by law, court order, or to establish or defend a legal claim
- Business transfers: if the business operating this website is acquired, merged or restructured, your information may transfer to a successor entity subject to this policy
We do not pass enquiries to the administrators of Network RV Pty Ltd unless you ask us to, or we are required to by law.
Some of our service providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. Before disclosing personal information to an overseas recipient we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, unless you have consented or another exception under APP 8 applies.
Section 06Storage, security and retention
We store personal information using reputable third-party hosting and service providers, some of which are located outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, as required by APP 11.
No transmission of data over the internet is entirely secure, and you provide your information at your own risk. If an eligible data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act.
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Enquiry correspondence relating to a caravan in the factory may be retained for longer where it forms part of our records of that matter.
Section 07Your rights and choices
