New owner to re-launch embattled Melbourne caravan brand
Campbellfield, Victoria-based Network RV is set to breathe new life into Elite Caravans after recently taking control of the embattled Melbourne caravan business.
Network RV, which manufactures NextGen, Victory and now Roadhouse Caravans, took ownership of the Elite brand name last month, and has plans to roll out a new streamlined range of on- and off-road Elite caravans later this year.
According to Network RV Business Development Manager Paul ‘Aka’ Fratta, the new Elite lineup is to be sold via a network of 14 Aussie dealers (plus two in New Zealand), with more expected to be signed up by Christmas.
Network RV plans to make Elite a “more price competitive” brand ranging from about $60,000 to $80,000, said Aka, adding that refinement was key. The new Elite models offered will comprise “a bit of everything”, he said.
Aka is familiar with the Elite brand; he launched Elite in 2008 and subsequently sold the company in 2011.
